More house pics

So, I've taken very few pics of the house. I don't think I ever took an original picture of the bathroom. Now we have ripped up about 3 layers of linoleum down to the beautiful hardwood floors. There is some water damage around the tub and toilet, but we hope we can restore it so the entire second floor would be all wood floors. I mainly have pictures of the main floor as we have been working on projects upstairs. Charlie, with the help of my dad, put a fan in our bedroom. Yay! Next on the list is a fan in the kids room, a/c unit for the upstairs (we do the open windows at night, which I would like except our wonderful neighbors >not being sarcastic, we really do like them<, they have a dog who is great during the day, but barks quite a bit at night), and the biggest and most important project is the bathroom. When we moved in it had this awful cream linoleum with gold squigglies all over it, peach walls and ceiling, an old enclosed cast-iron tub, a almost free standing sink (it really is kinda cool) and a very sturdy toilet. (which I am very thankful for, the apartment toilet had issues) Like I said before, we are down to the wood floors, Charlie has taken down one plaster wall, the enclosement on the tub is gone (to reveal a very unique cast-iron tub, it is hard to describe, so I will post a picture at some point) and one of the steps to the attic was removed. Other than the mess, it looks much better. The plan is to drywall the walls, refinish the floors or tile, put in a new tub (in our dinning room right now) with a shower (yay!), repaint the walls, and ceiling and maybe put a new sink and medicine cabinet. Ok, enough talking. Pictures. While they are uploading, I will write more. :-) Sorry about the living room pics, if you look closely you will see baskets of laundry. Have I ever mentioned my hatred of laundry?.... And our end table is serving as a shelf. You will be seeing the reading nook, and the living room first.

These next pictures are of the kitchen, breakfast nook and the pantry. So excited to have a pantry. :-) No dishwasher, thus dishes on counter (which are red, another yay!), but it is fine for now. It is not the most spacious kitchen, but I still like it.
